After yesterday's one-two in SuperSprint, Lisa Vittozzi confirms her excellent form by also imposing herself in the Sprint of the Ruhpolding World Championships.

Sappadina (1-0), despite an error in the first polygon, keeps behind, thanks to an excellent last lap, the Czech Marketa Davidova (0-0), preceding her at the finish line by 2.4 seconds. The third classifieds are also perfect shooting, the Swiss Lena Haecki (0-0) and the Slovak Paulina Fialkova (0-0) who close at 23.9. In the supporting positions there is an interesting duel with equal errors (1-1) between three great protagonists of the circuit. The Swedish Elvira Oeberg prevails who, at 39.6, is fifth and precedes the German Denise Herrmann (39.9) and Dorothea Wierer, seventh at 43.4, after recovering three positions in the last lap.
In the men's field the victory goes to the Swedish Sebastian Samuelsson (0-1) who precedes, with equal errors, by 8.3 his compatriot Peppe Femling (1-0); third place for the Swiss Niklas Hartweg (0-1) who closes at 27.2 behind the winner. A complicated standing polygon stops Tommaso Giacomel (0-4) 28th at 1.30.4 while Didier Bionaz (1-1) is 38th at 1.57.5.
The titles of the junior category go to the 21 year old Czech Jonas Marecek and the German Selina Grotian.
