According to a Sponsor Insight survey reported by our colleagues at Langreen.com, biathlon has displaced football to the top spot among the most watched sports in the Nordic country.
The fame and achievements of the brothers Tarej and Johannes Bo with the various Vetle Sjastad Christiansen and Sturla Holm Laegreid in the male field, and two big hits in the female field that respond to the names of Tiril Eckhoff and Marte Olsbu Roeiseland were the architects of this leap forward of the biathlon with big chances that we can keep the result also next year.
The Crystal Cup obtained by Roeiseland and the six medals won during the Beijing Olympics were the key to this national result.On the podium football and cross-country skiing.
