After the two Sprints that opened 2022 of the great biathlon, tomorrow will be the turn of the mixed team tests, the first of the season and the last test before the Beijing Olympic Games. At 12:15 the start of the Mixed Relay (Olympic format), at 14:45 the Single Mixed.

Italy, even without a member of the starting quartet, Lukas Hofer, is betting everything on the Olympic format, where however, unlike what will happen in Beijing, it will be men who open the race. The blue quartet will be composed of Thomas Bormolini, excellent 13th in the Sprint, Dominik Windisch, Dorothea Wierer, with Lisa Vittozzi in closing. Unpublished couple instead for the Single Mixed, where Federica Sanfilippo will join Tommaso Giacomel.
Scrolling through the starting list of the Mixed Relay you can see how Norway lined up the best formation they have at the moment, with the brothers Boe, Roeiseland and Tandrevold. A different choice instead in France, where Fillon Maillet and Jacquelin rest. The transalpines will therefore have Guigonnat, Desthieux, Bescond and Simon. A typical formation also for Sweden (Ponsiluoma, Samuelsson and the Oeberg sisters) and for Belarus (Labastau, Smolski, Alimbekava and Sola), while Alexander Loginov was left on the bench among the Russians.
In the Single Mixed a very close fight is expected, with several nations, even in the second tier, which could have their say. Sweden and France are somewhat reworked, even if the transalpine couple Claude-Anais Chevalier is not to be underestimated. But beware of Norway with Christiansen and Lien, of Hauser and Eder's Austria and of Russia, with Babikov and Reztsova, without forgetting the Germany of veterans Lesser and Hildebrand.
