Despite the ongoing war, Ukrainian biathletes could start preparing for the next CdM season

The biathletes of the Ukrainian national team of which Dmytro Pidrucnyi, Artem Pryma, Julia Dzhima, Darya Blashko Anastasia Merkhusina, Anton Dudchenko and Bodgdan Tsymbal are part of the army in defense of their homeland from the Russian invasion, could be part of the group of the next camp summer training from 20 to 25 May.
"We will send a request to the Ministry of Youth and Sports with the list of athletes who will be selected for the various summer competitions and respective courses. On the basis of this list we are drafting an appeal to the structures concerned to relieve these athletes from their duties and to allow them to attend training meetings and competitions, ”said Evgeny Kolupaev, head coach of the Ukrainian national biathlon team.
