Biathlon: High temperatures complicate the organization''s plans. No competition on Thursday, the men on track 24 hours later on the day of the women's sprint, then relays and pursuits.

The men's Sprint scheduled for next January 6 in the German town of Oberhof has been moved from Thursday to Friday, due to too hot temperatures and, to accentuate the problems, the rain that has fallen in recent days has also taken care of it.
The organizers of the first stage of the biathlon CdM for 2022 are convinced that the coldest temperatures of the weekend should benefit the snowpack, but shorten the scheduled dates. Therefore, the men's Sprint will join the women's one (set at 2.15 pm) on the following day, with a time yet to be defined. In addition to the two Sprints, the calendar includes the mixed relay at 12.15 and the mixed couples relay at 14.45 on Saturday. It closes on Sunday at 12.15 with the men's pursuit and followed by the women's pursuit at 14.45.
