In Norway the Italy of team A will be absent and will now change the preparation plans a few weeks after the start of the biathlon CdM in the Finnish lands

No Sjusojen for Wierer and his companions who for logistical reasons renounce the pre-season stage in Norway. The situation for these stages has had complicated vicissitudes due to the lack of snow in the aforementioned Norwegian town.
So Klaus Hollerigl has decided to leave home the big names of Italy which include Dorothea Wierer, Lisa Vittozzi, Samuela Comola, Michela Carrara and Rebecca Passler among the women, to which are added Lukas Hofer, Didier Bionaz, Tommaso Giacomel, Daniele Cappellari, David Zingerle and Patrick Braunhofer among the men, therefore, the start of the season is postponed for the first stage of CdM in Kontiolathi, Finland on November 29th with individual, relay, sprint and pursuit scheduled for that weekend .
A decision that will still be a blow to the show as France will not be there having announced its participation in Idre in Sweden.
The organizers struggled to manage the situation that had led them in a few days to move the stage to Lillehammer where the snow was already present despite the high temperatures. Then, over the weekend, the surprise turnaround brought the event back to Sjusojen thanks to the snowfarming technique.
