Second weekend in Germany at the National Summer Biathlon Championships. Simon Schempp imposes himself after winning the title of Sprint and Pursuit.

The day dedicated to Mass Starts took place in Ruhpolding, after yesterday's unprecedented aperitif in the race on skirolls without polygons. In the men's field, the German title goes to Simon Schempp who, despite two errors at the third polygon, has the better of Matthias Dorfer (two penalties also for him) and the Ukrainian Pidruchnyi who starts badly with two errors on the ground to then produce in an uphill race that in any case takes him to the third step of the podium.
Thomas Bormolini was the protagonist until the last lap, still leading at the end of the last shooting session where he paid the only mistake of his race, which ended 20 seconds behind the winner in fourth position. It is ninth at 55 "Lukas Hofer whose race was ruined by the three mistakes at the first polygon while Giuseppe Montello is twelfth with 4 penalty laps. Twenty-fourth Dominik Windisch, seven mistakes for him at 2''29".
In the women's field, Denise Herrmann imposed her dominance on the roller skis dominating the race and winning with more than a minute of advantage despite two errors at the first polygon and an irrelevant error in the last session. Little serves the Ukrainian Vita Semerenko to be the most precise of the day with only one mistake at the last polygon; he has to settle for second place at 1''09 ". Lisa Vittozzi is unlucky that in the first session he has problems, due to an insect, with the sight of his rifle and he loses a lot of time rearranging it two errors, the result of the tension of the moment. The sappadina closes the summer winning streak with the third place at 1''25 ".
With Dorothea Wierer returned home in recent days due to an illness, Federica Sanfilippo is tenth with 5 shooting errors; thirteenth Michela Carrara (3 errors for her) while seven laps of penalty weigh down Nicole Gontier's race, only thirty-second.
