Ski Club Entracque and Asd Anterselva great protagonists in Forni Avoltri of the sprints of the Italian Compressed Air Champion

The Italian Compressed Air Biathlon Championships, currently taking place on the snow of the Carnia Arena International Biathlon Center in Forni Avoltri, opened in the name of the Ski Club Entracque-Alpi Marittime and the Asd Anterselva.

The sprint races that characterized the first day of the Carnic weekend, in fact, crowned the Western Alps ski club which collected two victories and three podiums, and the South Tyrolean company which achieved two successes and a third place. In the Junior category (Under 15) victory for the South Tyrolean Hannes Bacher (ASD Anterselva) author of 4 errors at the shooting range (0 + 4) which preceded by 43 "Edoardo Forneris (Ski Club Entracque-Alpi Marittime) (0 + 4 ) and the Aosta Valley Manuel Contoz (Amis De Verrayes (0 + 3) of 44 ". In the Friuli Venezia Giulia home came a sixth place with Marco Da Pozzo (SS Fornese) (0 + 2) better than the FISI FVG Committee, while the sappadino Marco Iorio (Camosci) finished in eighth position (2 + 1) and the best of the home athletes was Simone Puntel (ASD Monte Coglians) who finished in forty-third position. Still in the Under 15 category but for women, a double from the Ski Club Entracque-Alpi Marittime, with Carlotta Gautero in first position (2 + 0) in front of her teammate Matilde Giordano (0 + 1) 52 "from the top. Excellent third place for Sappada Desiree Ribbi (Camosci), best of the Fisi FVG Committee, who was the author of 3 errors at the shooting range (2 + 1), closing with a gap of 1''07 "from the winner. Maya Pividori instead closed in twelfth position resulting in the best biathlete registered by the local ASD Monte Coglians. Moving on to the Junior category (Under 13), South Tyrolean hat-trick in the men's sprint, with the success of Julian Huber (ASD Anterselva), ahead of Andreas Braunhofer (ASV Ridanna) and Jan Steinkasserer (ASD Anterselva). Best of the Friulians Filippo Tach (Camosci) fifteenth. In the women's field, Giada Ravera (Ski Club Entracque-Alpi Marittime) won ahead of Elsa Canins (Alta Badia) and Luna Forneris (Ski Club Entraque-Alpi Marittime). Chiara Polo from Fornese was the best of the FISI FVG Committee finishing in ninth position. An important appointment for the Carnic center, organized as usual by the local Asd Monte Coglians in collaboration with the Sci Cai Trieste Asd and with the precious contribution of PromoTurismoFVG, which confirms the high level of preparation of the two Ski Clubs in being able to organize high level competitions despite the unfavorable period. The weekend of races of the Italian Championships will open tomorrow at 10.00 with the start of the men's and women's sprint races valid for the Junior category, then at 13.00 it will be the turn of the Boys category who will face the same race format. The results of today's races will act as the start list of tomorrow's pursuit tests, where the last 4 titles of this long and exciting Italian Championship weekend will be awarded.
