The TAS has canceled all the results obtained by the Russian biathlete from 2010 to 2014: Martin Fourcade, therefore, wins his sixth Olympic title.

An expected sentence, although there is still the possibility of an appeal which Evgeny Ustyugov will use, as already announced by his lawyers.
All the results obtained from 2010 to 2014 were removed from the former biathlete, as the TAS made official, which found Ustyugov guilty for the violation of anti-doping rules, effectively confirming the IBU sentence. The Russian thus loses the Olympic gold won in the mass start of the 2010 Vancouver Games, with Martin Fourcade rising to six titles in five circles, ahead of Hurajt and Sumann with the new ranking. Bronze with the relay in the same edition, the disqualification of Ustyugov costs the medal that goes to Sweden, behind Norway and Austria.
Above all, Russia had won the Olympic relay title in Sochi 2014, with Germany thus climbing to the top step ahead of Austria and Norway. And an Italian athlete also benefits from this decision: we are talking about Lukas Hofer, world bronze medal in the world championship mass start of Khanty-Mansiysk 2011; Ustyugov had finished in second place behind Svendsen and ahead of the South Tyrolean, who at this point is tinged with silver, with Tarjei Boe bronze medal.
