For the second consecutive year, Marie Laure Brunet decided to close early in its season.

The French biathlete, dramatically collapsed on the track during the relay, has recovered from the illness, but it is far from his best form.
The twenty-five transalpine has therefore opted to avoid the last three stages of the World Cup and start a long period of rest.
Brunet had started the season brilliantly, finishing third in the individual'' Östersund where he had close to victory, but in fact has had physical problems since the home leg in mid-December.
