The complicated situation in Norway brings biathlon to its knees in a race against time to save the program in the towns of Norway. In the Norge team also Tandrevold and the decimated women's team jumps

In Norway the female biathlon is massacred by significant forfeits after the announcements of Eckhoff and Roiseland that they will miss the pre-season races and the start of the season for reasons already mentioned above, the stop also arrives for Ingrid Landmark Tandrevold absent this weekend in Sjusojen in Norway.
Struck by a cold while training in Oberhof in Germany, Tandrevold was advised to stay home with the hope of recovering her for the start of the season in Konthiolati. The Norwegian team thus finds itself having to deal with a medical situation that is not very congenial if we consider that there are already four athletes suffering from illness, including Bakken in the men's field.
In fact, for the home stage in Sjusojen the women's department is decimated only by Karoline Knotten, the only representative to compete in the two days of competition, while Ragnhild Femsteinevik and Ida Lien will only participate in the sprint on Sunday.
The situation is substantially worrying for the Norwegian squadron with the three big players on the bench and with no hope (or almost) of defending the crystal cup won in the two previous years.
Furthermore, the Nordic country faces a dramatic snow situation. In the last few hours, the stage of the IBU cup in Sjusjoen scheduled from 27 to 29 November has been canceled and in an attempt to save the pre-season race, 2000 cubic meters of snow have been brought from Lillehammer, site of the 1994 Winter Olympics.
Initially it was decided to move the event to Lillehammer and then force the organizers to retrace their steps and turn again on Sjusjoen in order not to compromise the CdM cross-country, combined and jump stage scheduled in the town of Lillehammer.
