The World Team Challenge scheduled for Tuesday 28 December confirms the presence of Italy, with the duo formed by Dorothea Wierer and Lukas Hofer. The other nations will be Russia (Evgeniya Burtasova and Matvey Eliseev), Austria (Lisa Theresa Hauser and Felix Leitner), Czech Republic (Marketa Davidova and Michal Krcmar), Ukraine (Yuliia Dzhyma and Dmytro Pidruchnyi), Finland (Mari Eder and Tero Seppala) , Canada (Emma Lunder and Christian Gow) and Switzerland (Lena Haecki and Joscha Burkhalter). Eyes on Italy together with defending champion Russia, the Czech Republic and Austria. On the other hand, the big names of the season, France, Sweden and Norway, are not represented, who have decided to preserve the athletes for the World Cup and the upcoming Beijing Olympics, which are now at the door, in order to avoid problems of various kinds. The World Team Challenge program includes a Mass Start at 18.00, followed by a chase at 19.00.
