The third stage of the World Cup and 2022 of the great biathlon closes in Le Grand Bornand. Last barrels of the end of the year with the two starts in line, the first of the season waiting for 2023 which will see the athletes return to the scene on the first weekend of January in Pokljuka.

As per the regulations, 30 athletes will take part in each race, the first 25 in the general classification of the World Cup plus the best 5 of the current stage.
It starts at 12:10 with the men's race, which will see only one Italian at the start: Tommaso Giacomel, 21st in the general classification of the World Cup led firmly by Johannes Boe. It will be just "Giovannino" to lead the Norwegian troop composed of 6 elements. Norway will be the most represented nation ahead of France (5).

At 14:15 it will be the turn of the girls and in this case the hosts will be six, led by the leader of General Julia Simon. For Italy there will be Lisa Vittozzi, back from the splendid podium obtained in the Pursuit and second in the World Cup standings, and Dorothea Wierer, who currently occupies ninth position.
