Dorothea Wierer started the new year with the right pace by updating her personal roll of podiums in CdM which reached 45. A third place behind Julia Simon and Elvira Oberg who can't help but smile at the South Tyrolean champion. A perfect start to the year for Wierer who saves today's collective result was rather subdued: on the occasion she overtook Hanna Oberg in the standings, climbing to ninth place in the general standings, now 60 points behind Denise Herrmann, third in the standings.
