This morning the absolute Italian biathlon championships took place in Val Martello.

The starting field was ennobled by the presence of all the athletes of the Elité team, who gave great show. In particular Dorothea Wierer and Dominik Windisch, world champions in the format, have won the national title.
In the women's race Wierer got the better of Lisa Vittozzi, second at the finish line, and Alexia Runggaldier. In the men's field instead Windisch preceded Lukas Hofer and Giuseppe Montello.
The Italian junior title was won by Cedric Christille, who put Daniele Cappellari and Davide Mancin Majoni behind him. Among the girls the victory went to Hannah Auchentaller, able to beat Rebecca Passler and Beatrice Trabucchi.
