BiathlonMartin Fourcade Nordic Festival
Everything is ready in Annecy for the great event that Martin Fourcade has organized as an end-of-summer event with the best of Biathlon and World Cross-Country Skiing.

Le Pâquier, a park on the shores of Lake Annecy, has turned into a sports arena that will host at least 10,000 people on Saturday; the 3,000 tickets for the grandstand in front of the shooting range were quickly sold out but the public can freely crowd all the spaces along the 1700-meter route and the hospitality village where many sponsors will be present with activities throughout the weekend.
The program will open Saturday, August 31st at 14.30 with the biathlon mass start; Dorothea Wierer, Lisa Vittozzi, Kaisa Makarainen, Justine Braisaz, Ekaterina Yurlova-Percht, Paulina Fialkova, Franziska Preuss and Monika Hojnisz and the whole French team are expected at the starting line-up for women. Fourcade, Johannes Thingnes Boe, Quentin Fillon-Maillet, Antonin Guigonnat, Simon Desthieux, Lukas Hofer, Benedikt Doll and Dmitry Malyshko.
At 4.30pm the Biathlon will leave room for cross-country skiing with a sprint on skirolls with 16 participants and rounds from the quarter-finals to the finals that are on the agenda around 6pm. Federico Pellegrino, Petter Northug, Lucas Chavanat will be present, among others. Gleb Retivykh, Baptiste Gros, Richard Jouve, Renaud Jay, Jovian Hediger, Krista Parmakoski, Greta Laurent, Laurien Van der Graaff, Nadine Fahndrich and Claudel Delphine.
Sunday, September 1 will be dedicated to enthusiasts: at 9 am we start with a youth biathlon race, at 1 pm instead of biathlon running, a 1 km relay race with obstacles and shooting at the shooting range with a 10 meter rifle.
