Thomas Bormolini: "It is hard to train with Doro, Lisa and Lukas but a great opportunity to grow"

On the occasion of the 20th edition of the Stralivigno, Dario Puppo met the 27-year-old local darling, who spoke of promotion in the elite group, of how his preparation has changed and the healthy rivalry between Dorothea Wierer and Lisa Vittozzi.

He did not have time to go back home that he already found himself wearing the Stralivigno bib. “We come from 3 weeks of really intense work. Today I had a job already scheduled and I took advantage of it to do the relay race with a friend ”. Seventh and with a better time than the last race in the 21 km race, the 27 year old from Valtellina has been promoted to the elite team for summer training. A great challenge. "I am aware of training with 3 purebred horses. It's not easy but I can grow. I'm working a lot physically. With Andrea Zattoni we are increasing the hours, the volumes and the loads ". How are your teammates? "In particular, Lisa and Dorothea have already started their heads up again?" Healthy competition is important within the group. We are talking about the first and the second of the general classification. It is a sporting rivalry that there is and always will be. When you challenge yourself to shooting or training there is that right attention, a bit of pepper that is good for you ".
