Dario Puppo interviewed the number one of the blue biathlon Sorothea Wierer after a race on natural snow in the center of Livigno in the context of the Contrade Trofeo.

"Surely it is strange to see the snow in the middle of the country in August, I think it's a wonderful experience for those looking at us but also for us athletes who are never in this period," says a radiant Wierer who adds: " Snow is fundamental, otherwise races are not done, it is not the case to think that it does not come, we hope instead that it will come so much next winter! "
Then the usual review of last season: "It was very tough, so many people expected much more but in the World Cup there is nothing simple. Then I had trouble sleeping, I could not, and that also affects the races, but now I'm off, I've had some nice holidays and I'm in mid-preparation, I feel pretty good and I'm confident. I've created several occasions to get away and stay with friends but still I've been trained the same, do not mind! The most beautiful sea? All Mauritius! "
"Every season is always different and you never feel the same way - continues Dorothea. There are good days and bad days but it is normal that it is so. This year there are the Olympics and everyone prepares those but for me it is important also a major achievement in the World Cup. The relationship with the rifle?
