The memories of the blue triumphs of the winter just passed are still fresh in the memories of all the fans, but it is already time to project themselves towards the next season, which will culminate with the World Championships in Anterselva.
After the memorable year just ended, the technical staff, led by Fabrizio Curtaz, was fully confirmed, as was the decision to form a personalized work group for the four medalists of Pyeongchang 2018 and Oestersund 2019. Lukas Hofer, Dominik Windisch, Lisa Vittozzi and Dorothea Wierer will therefore still form the "Elite Team", with which the "World Cup Team" will occasionally train.
This last will include some athletes already used to compete in the top international circuit, such as Thomas Bormolini, Giuseppe Montello, Federica Sanfilippo and Nicole Gontier and two athletes on the launching pad: Patrick Braunhofer and Daniele Cappellari, respectively class 1998 and 1997.
Instead, she was relegated to the "group observed" by Alexia Runggaldier, back from a disappointing winter. Neither Thierry Chenal, who was included in the "Squadra B Ibu Cup" together with the young Durand, Leitgeb, Nicase and Rudy Zini, found any space in Squadra A. The same work group also for Irene Lardschneider and Michela Carrara, who from time to time could make some presence in the major circuit.
