After leading in the first part of the race, the blue quartet was bypassed by Germany, France and Norway and closed at the foot of the podium.

The victory went to Germany that preceded Norway, dragged by Tandrevold, Eckhoff and Olsbu. In fact, in the final Marte Olsbu Røiseland stripped Julia Simon, who had to settle for third place. Italy has instead finished at the foot of the podium.
