The start of Olso, the last race of the season, will decide who will be the new queen of biathlon.

Once the pursuit is filed, three athletes are still in the running to conquer the crystal ball. Today's race has excluded the Norwegian Marte Olsbu Røiseland from this fight. At the moment the classification, taking with the rejects, sees Wierer lead with 875 points, while Vittozzi and Kuzmina chase at 852 and 839.
If Wierer were to close in the top 6 tomorrow, he would be sure to win the Cup. Vittozzi must recover 24 points to his teammate and to cultivate hopes he is forced to enter the top four. Kuzmina, on the other hand, has to win and hope that Wierer will not do better than 17th and Vittozzi worse than 4th.
The appointment for the race that could become historic for Italian biathlon is tomorrow at 1.45pm. At 4.30 pm the men's event will start, the last of the 2018/19 World Cup. It too could be historical as Johannes Boe goes hunting for the 16th win of the season and the Grand Slam.
