Just a few days before the start of the 2018/19 World Cup, Dominik Windisch talked to the microphones of Fisi.org.

The South Tyrolean, back from a triumphant Olympics, where he won two bronze medals, set the season goals: "My goal for this season - said Dominik - is to find more consistency in shooting and improve it. last year I had ups and downs: every now and then very well, but sometimes I made bad mistakes, I solved them at the moment, but I hope they will not come back in the winter, when the wind turned in a certain direction, the diopter and you could not regulate it, so I made so many mistakes: when there is the wind do not blame the gun, you give it to you, because you say '' I reacted badly '' and do not look for the problem in the material, but in Anterselva we discovered that the diopter was blocked, then we solved everything and at the Olympics it was the one that won me the medal ".
