The IBU has issued the draft of the calendar for the 2018/19 season, which will have to be confirmed in September, during the congress of Porec (Cro).

In total there will be nine World Cup races, in addition to the Östersund World Cup, which will represent the topical moment of the season. It will start from Pokljuka (Slo) at the end of November and will end in Oslo (Nor) on March 24th, amid so much news, including the return of Nove Mesto after a year of absence. Next winter, the World Cup will be back in North America, in February the stops in Salt Lake City (USA) and Canmore (Can) are scheduled.
In the calendar certainly could not miss Anterselva, a classic Biathlon, which in 2019 will do the general tests in view of the 2020 World Cup. The World Cup will therefore stop in Italy from 21 to 27 January.
The IBU also announced the provisional schedule for the IBU Cup, the IBU Junior Cup, the European Championships and the Youth / Junior World Championships. The events of the cadet circuit will be eight, including two in Italy, in Val Ridanna and Val Martello.
