This afternoon in Nove Mesto (Cze) officially opened the XIII edition of the world biathlon skiroll.

The senior mixed relay was won by the Russian quartet composed of Yurlova, Vasileva, Porshnev and Shopin who trimmed 51 "to the Czech Republic, the silver medal, the hosts were dragged to the square of honor from the excellent performances of Vitkova and Krcmar, while Davidova and Moravec did not shine, they were too unsuccessful shooting, but the fight for the third place was resolved in the sprint that saw Poland prevail for only one tenth (Zbylut, Hojnisz, Guzik, Szczurek) on the Ukraine (Vi. Semerenko, Va. Semerenko, Pryma, Pidruchnyi), on paper the favorite of the eve.
For the Czech Republic and Poland this was not the only day's medal, since these two nations dominated the race reserved for juniors that opened the world championship. The gold medal went to the hosts who set themselves up with 28 "against the Poles and just under a minute on the amazing Slovenia, with Ukraine 4a and Russia 5th dry.
Tomorrow at Nove Mesto the program will continue with the Sprint tests.
