As mentioned last year, the gold medal went to Emilien Jacquelin who won ahead of Johannes Boe and Loginov, today at the start with numbers 26 and 1’15 "to recover. In the four previous seasons, the only one to win more than once was Laegreid, winner of the second race in Hochfilzen and in Oberhof. The remaining two wins went to Samuelsson (Kontiolahti) and Fillon Maillet (Hochfilzen). Emilien Jacquelin boasts two second places, Dale a second and a third place, while Johannes Boe has climbed the bottom step of the podium twice. The world championship pursuit for the Norwegian champion is a real taboo, since in the last three editions of Hochfilzen 2017, Oestersund 2019 and Anterselva 2020 he always finished in second position.
