The Russian site Skisport.ru at the end of BlinkFestivalen interviewed Dominik Windisch, who said he was satisfied with the preparation made up to now and he confided the plans for the future.

The blue for the first time in his career took part in the famous Norwegian summer festival, where he was the only representative of the Italian national team, finishing ninth in the Supersprint. It was a wonderful experience, a great workout, "said Dominik. I have seen on what I have to improve, especially in shooting standing up. In Supersprint I did better than in Mass. I like contact competitions and I had good feelings. This year was my first time at BlinkFestivalen, next year I want to go back and improve my results. Why were you the only Italian at BlinkFestivalen? I do not know, I would have been happy if even my companions had come. I have always wanted to compete here, this year I received the invitation and I gladly accepted. I think I will come again next year. How are your workouts after Team A has been split into two work groups? This year we are divided between Team A and Elite Team, of which we are part, Hofer, Vittozzi and Wierer. For the moment we are following the program of the previous seasons, since we have seen that it works. The others, on the other hand, train separately, even if we occasionally gather together. What are your plans for this summer? In September I will take part in the Italian summer championships in Forni Avoltri, then I will be competing in the Austrian championships in Hochfilzen. I want to focus on my weaknesses and try to improve, and when I compete I can better analyze the mistakes. What are your goals for the next season? Now I am preparing for the World Cup because I want to close the general classification in a good position. Next winter there will also be the World Cup but my big goal is the Anterselva World Cup in 2020. After the Pyeongchang medals, has your life changed? On one side, yes, on the other, no. I am the same as before, but around me there is more media interest and more events to participate.
