Sunday, October 7 the protagonists of the Italian bob and skeleton will meet at the push piston Renzo Alverà located in Fiames, to dispute the Italian Championships of Thrust.

The event also open to foreign athletes, will be as usual organized by the Bob Club Cortina after a year of stop has decided to revive this format of the race very useful as a first test to check the status of the athletes' shape in the orbit of the teams national and above all very interesting to bring other potential sports to the two disciplines of the gut.
In fact, the competitions will be held at the "Antonella De Rigo" Sports Center, where the push piston named Renzo Alverà is located, a recently expanded structure that allows bobbyists and skeletonists to train in the fundamental thrust and at the same time allows various recruitment activities. The pistil of Fiames being made of tartan can be used by anyone who wants to get closer to the discipline, since two athletic shoes and a helmet are enough to try the thrill of pushing a bob or a skeleton.
For this reason, on the sidelines of the competitions, the Bob Club Cortina will provide a monobob with the aim of promoting discipline to youngsters and athletes from other sports, and maybe discovering new talents to recreate the Italian bobsleigh movement.
The event will open Saturday afternoon at 15.00 with the official training sessions which will be followed by the Captain Meeting Team at 5.00 pm. Sunday starting at 10.00 instead will be serious, with the 'beginning of the two-man bobsled races followed by those of skeleton (female and male) that will award the Italian summer titles.
The two days of Cortina will be fully followed by Neveitalia that after the commitment during the Italian Summer Championships of cross country and biathlon of Forni Avoltri has decided again to make its contribution in the promotion of such an important event covering the role of Official Media Partner of the event.
