All the main athletes of the Italian bobsleigh and skeleton national teams took part in the tricolor event, some of whom were protagonists at the recent Beijing 2022 Olympic Games.

This is how her umpteenth Italian title arrived for the standard bearer of the Gruppo Sportivo delle Fiamme Azzurre, which allows her to conclude in the best possible way a season that has effectively consecrated her to the elite of the world skeleton.
The men's skeleton competition with Amedeo Bagnis from Vercelli, who preceded Mattia Gaspari by just 10 cents, was much more fought. An exciting two-player challenge between the two top athletes of the Italian skeleton movement, both protagonists at the Beijing 2022 Games.
The two men's bobsleigh race was also very intense, with the beauty of 10 crews at the start. At the end of the two scheduled heats, the national title went to the crew piloted by Patrick Baumgartner and pushed by Robert Mircea who beat Mattia Variola and Eric Fantazzini by just 10 cents.
Few surprises therefore in these Italian championships which have confirmed the values expressed during this long season and which have once again reaffirmed the great bond that binds the Bob Club Cortina with these two disciplines ... But the greatest hope is the Bob Club Cortina that the same technicians of the Italian bobsleigh and skelelton team are doing is to see as soon as possible the start of construction work on the Cortina Olympic track, an instrumental facility not only for the purpose of the result of the 2026 Olympic Games but also to restart an entire movement ...
The 2021-22 season of the Italian bobsleigh and skeleton ends here, but now the new Olympic four-year period begins, the one that leads to the Milan-Cortina 2026 Games which could represent the turning point for these two disciplines that have given so much to Italy and that can still give so much.
