The feat of Amos Mosaner and Stefania Constantini at the Beijing Olympics has turned the spotlight on Curling, an attention that after the winter comes to Milan Design Week.

To celebrate its 100th anniversary, as part of Fuorisalone 2022, Alessi traces the history of the company with an exhibition where the installations retrace cult objects and present prototypes for the future.
Among the twelve iconic pieces that are remembered, an unprecedented object is presented: Bulbul, the kettle never produced designed in 1995 by the great master of design Achille Castiglioni. In its forms. Bulbul has great similarities with a curling stone and Alberto Alessi himself remembers "Achille often reminded me that I asked him to design kitchen tools that he was not usually used ... As a demonstration, his kettle has an unprecedented way of handling: as if to suggest an invitation to play by sliding it onto the kitchen counter ”.
In the installation at Fuorisalone, the kettles are ready to slide into the setting where the "home" of Curling stands out, refreshing the Milanese public and celebrating the historic gold medal of Stefania Constantini and Amos Mosaner.
