Italy closes the Canadian world review in tenth place

The girls led by Constantini end with a flourish with the victory over the Czech Republic

The last day before the playoffs of the Canadian Curling World Cup gave Italy their third success on the ice against the Czech Republic. A result marked by Constantini's five points in the eighth end that led to the final result 7-3. This is the fourth overall victory in the tournament thanks also to the early retirement due to Covid of the Scottish team. A negative record accentuated by the previous defeat to Denmark 5-7 two days ago leads to the total sum of eight defeats. What counts about this experience for the girls led by Stefania Constantini is the final tenth place in the scoreboard valid as the best result compared to last year's world review. A nice group of girls in which growth will be crucial in the Olympic four-year period, with the great common goal of aiming high at the Milan-Cortina 2026 Olympics
