Italy is officially out of the mixed doubles World Cup playoffs. In the last round of Group A, even before playing, by virtue of a worse Draw Stone Challenge than Norway and Switzerland, the Azzurri were already sure not to go to the knockout phase to fight for medals. In Geneva Stefania Constantini and Sebastiano Arman finished in seventh place with a 10-4 win over Finland. The final balance, however decidedly positive, is 6 wins and 3 defeats. It should be noted that in the Italy group there were the 3 national teams who reached the podium at the last Olympics.
