Joel Retornaz and his teammates conquer a prestigious victory at the Mattamy Athletics Center in Toronto, once again entering the history of this sport.

Team Retornaz captures the first historic match won in a Grand Slam event of curling. After yesterday's debut 6-3 defeat with the usual Edin, on the ice of the Toronto Players' Championship, this time not with the national jersey but that of Pinerolo of Team Retornaz Raspini, the quartet won 7-2 at seventh end on skip Brad Jacobs, Olympic gold medalist in Sochi 2014 and vice world champion in Victoria in 2013. Another great satisfaction in the magical winter of our movement, for Jöel Retornaz, Amos Mosaner, Sebastiano Arman and Simone Gonin. Now they will face the silver Brad Gushue team at the last World Championships in Las Vegas
