The track event was canceled due to bad weather, but the 17th Barbara Compagnoni Memorial brought many champions to Valtellina for a unique meeting of its kind

"Scia with the champions" has turned into a slightly different event, due to the heavy snowfall that, right on the night preceding the event organized in Santa Caterina Valfurva, for the 17th Barbara Compagnoni Memorial, has whitened the town of '' Alta Valtellina forcing the organizers to cancel the race on the track.
Not bad, though, because the members and the fans have nevertheless been able to meet again, in the "La Fonte" area, for lunch together with the many champions and ex who collected Deborah Compagnoni's invitation and were present for a solidarity event aimed at in favor of the Sciare per la Vita non-profit association, destined for the financing of the genetic passport of the “Maria Letizia Verga enco-hematology center†for the study and treatment of child leukemia.
From a legend like Gustav Thoeni, who has found many old friends like the hosts Tino Pietrogiovanna and Oreste Peccedi, Max Blardone and Jure Kosir, passing by Matteo Marsaglia literally overwhelmed by the affection of the little ones of the Ski Club Santa Caterina Valfurva.
