A special summer appointment returns in the "little Tibet", with the two champions of Italian biathlon present.

Dorothea Wierer and Lisa Vittozzi will be the stars of the Palio delle Contrade - 1K Shot, scheduled for the evening of Friday 23 August in the heart of Livigno.
The riders engaged in the past few days in the Stralivigno will have been the first to have noticed the enormous sheet that covers the mass of snow that, on the occasion of the Palio, will serve to create a magical atmosphere with the technique of the snowfarming that allows the conservation of the snow even when winter is far away, the same that guarantees the Valtellina locality the opening of the cross-country skiing ring starting next October 19th.
To have already confirmed its presence at the event at the end of August, in fact, there are the dominators of the last world season of pink biathlon, in addition to the other athletes of the Livigno Team such as Thomas Bormolini, Saverio Zini, Rudy Zini, Paolo Rodigari.
The livignasco committee will thus set up a snow-covered track in the middle of August and in the town center, guaranteeing maximum enjoyment both to the star players of the winter disciplines and to the local athletes, in the traditional Palio delle Contrade which foresees the challenge between champions 1K Shot from 17.30, while the spectacular competition with ski and vintage clothing will be held in the evening, starting at 8.30pm. It is a "Palio" but does not take place in Siena, the "Palio" of Livigno anticipates the seasons and makes it possible ... the impossible.
