It is the day of the much discussed FISI elections, never so "hot" for what has happened in recent weeks, with a series of appeals that will keep the games open even after today's decisions, given that the CONI College of Guarantee could take measures adverse to the candidacy and therefore to the eligibility of Flavio Roda.
The current president is among the five executives who aim to lead the Italian Winter Sports Federation towards the next four-year period that will lead to the Olympic Games in Milan Cortina 2026: appointment this morning in Milan for the Federal Ordinary Elective Assembly, which takes place at the Hangar Bicocca.
Work program opened at 8.00 from the establishment of the Commission Verification of Powers, followed by the opening of the stations for the accreditation process of those entitled to vote, then from 9.30 the notice of the first call of the Assembly. At 11.00 the second notice: upon reaching the necessary quorum, there will be the constitution of the organs of the Federal Assembly and the approval of the planning budgets of the Federal Council.
Following, there will be speeches by candidates for the office of Federal President. At about 1.00 pm, the vote for the office of President and the subsequent proclamation begins. From 15.00, here is the presentation of the candidates for federal offices for the affiliated councilors, athletes and technicians and for the President of the Board of Auditors. 3.30 pm: voting for the various offices and subsequent proclamation of the elected representatives, remembering that there are 23 candidates in total for the Council, 3 instead those in the athletes' quota, 5 representing the technicians and 6 for the presidency of the Audit Board.
