Everything is ready in Cortina d''Ampezzo, for a sort of summer party of the world of winter disciplines, anticipated in a particular location and in a place that has always represented a lot, but even more it will be a pivot of the movement with the Alpine skiing World Championships in February 2021 and the Olympic Games in 2026.
For the third consecutive year, "La Gazzetta dello Sport" organizes the Snow and Ice Grand Gala, with an appointment set at 6 pm on Saturday 1 August in the heart of the pearl of the Dolomites, or in Piazza Dibona where all the great champions will parade FISI.
Athletes from the various winter disciplines who distinguished themselves in the 2019/2020 year will be awarded with the Fiocchi d''oro and the Fiocchi d''Argento; starting clearly from the winners of the absolute World Cup, such as Federica Brignone and Dorothea Wierer (who added the two wonderful world titles in her Anterselva), Roland Fischnaller dominator of the snowboard season like Michela Moioli in snowboardcross, and then Dominik Paris , Federico Pellegrino, Lara Malsiner, Lisa Vittozzi and the super couple of the skeleton, bronze at the last world championships, formed by Mattia Gaspari and Valentina Margaglio.
