The era of Gianfranco Kasper at the head of the FIS, as it was now in the air for some time, will officially end in 2020.
The 75-year-old Swiss official announced his decision in Konstanz not to reapply for the next international federation council scheduled for May 2020 in Thailand.
Overall, Kasper has been working in the FIS for 45 years, of which 21 (22 next year) as president, confirmed in the last 2018 election. In less than six months, the new election of the number 1 of winter sports guide movement.
