In the month between November and December the sport will be divided between the winter disciplines and football in a combination that puts foreign broadcasters in doubt in the various slots of the day.

This year, for the first time in many years, winter sports will be held concurrently with the World Cup in Qatar from November 20th to December 18th.
Specifically there are various European countries that will have both sports sectors in which their colors are represented. These are the case of France, Germany, and Switzerland, countries that have always had a certain weight in the snow disciplines.
Switzerland will give priority to alpine skiing and will leave football on the sidelines, with the exception of the matches of the Swiss national team which will be broadcast on a second channel.
"We will give priority to all the Alpine Ski World Cup races, even in the five evenings in which it will be in direct competition with the World Cup matches. Anyone who wants to see football will be able to find another channel. We will make exceptions only when the Swiss team will play, but then we will give a second national channel to skiing "; These are the statements of the programming manager Daniel Bollinger of the country's German broadcaster SRF.
Of the same wavelength is France which will not only have alpine skiing, but also biathlon and cross-country skiing among the various sports in which Eurosport channels holds the rights, while football will be broadcast on free-to-air broadcasters.
Conversely, Germany will prioritize football despite ARD and ZDF being historic channels for winter sports. In Austria, absent from the World Cup, everything is still to be decided considering that both football and winter disciplines can only be seen through public channels.
