Alessandro Falez had already presented his candidacy for the position of number 1 of the FISI, in the first public event organized last week in his Rome.

I was struck by his competence, enthusiasm and also his desire to renew the Federation and have a younger council with more participation. There will be two athletes councilors. The candidates, besides me, are Matteo Marsaglia and Verena Stuffer who is in the FIS Athletes Commission and also represents the category in the Milano Cortina 2026 Foundation. It would be nice to be a FISI adviser and collaborate with her in FIS. It's a great challenge because I like to test myself ”.
Falez returned to the appeal rejected by the Federal Court regarding the possible ineligibility of Flavio Roda, as regards his fourth term as president of the FISI. Thus the Roman executive candidate to become number 1 in via Piranesi, clarifying that he will go on using all levels of judgment. “With the publication of the candidates, the position of Flavio Roda was made official. For us he is not a candidate and he is not eligible - explains Alessandro Falez - Together with Angelo Dalpez we have already filed an appeal with the FISI Court (the other appeal was presented by Stefano Maldifassi) which was rejected, but our path continues forward. to the Federal Court of Appeal.
