Crazy Italy in parallel to the EYOF: gold for Saracco, bronze for Bertoldini and Pomaré

An authentic triumph to close the blue alpine skiing expedition to the European games dedicated to the youngest, the EYOF 2022 on the Finnish snows of Vuokatti. After the team's silver in yesterday's team event, three medals arrived in the individual parallel, which are also added to the one (always silver) won by Emilia Mondinelli in the slalom. Edoardo Saracco imposed himself in the men's race, he already protagonist yesterday in the blue quartet and 5th in slalom, beating the Finnish Erik Saravuo in the final (who had won right between the tight posts), after having folded in the previous round Andrea Bertoldini, who he then gave himself a beautiful bronze medal. Third place also for Ambra Pomaré in the women's test, with the 17-year-old from Ampezzo on the podium behind the two Austrians Victoria Olivier and Nathalie Falch. Fourth medal of the day that still comes from cross-country skiing, with the great silver in the mixed relay of the azzurrini, just 14 ”6 from Sweden. Davide Ghio at the launch was good at giving the change to second place, followed by an Iris De Martin Pinter in a state of grace, yet another very high level performance in this review, so Hannes Oberhofer, excellent in managing the advantage, and finally Nadine Laurent, who secured the medal by increasing the advantage over her pursuers, with Finland obtaining the bronze.
