The race for the FISI presidency remains at 5: the appeal for the ineligibility of Flavio Roda rejected

The Federal Court did not accept the request of Dalpez, Falez and Maldifassi, opposed to the fourth term of the outgoing president who will therefore be able to participate in the race for the seat in number 1 in via Piranesi on 15 October.

The race for the FISI presidency remains at five, in this hot approach to the national elections scheduled in Milan, on the morning of Saturday 15 October. It was certainly not a novelty, announced on several occasions, the desire to appeal to the federal justice bodies for the position of Flavio Roda, by the other candidates Angelo Dalpez, Alessandro Falez and Stefano Maldifassi (Giacomo Bisconti, on the other hand, did not submit this document, he too in the running for the chair of number 1 of the Federation). In the late afternoon of Thursday, the Federal Court met in videoconference, with the president, the lawyer. Rodolfo Senes, and the members, the lawyers Enrico Medici and Sabina Mantovani. The appeal relating to the possible ineligibility of the outgoing president Roda in view of what would be the fourth term, but which is not recognized as such as the first would not have been complete, was officially rejected. In recent days, the president of CONI himself, Giovanni Malagò, had essentially liquidated the matter, leaving it to the bodies in charge, speaking on the occasion of the National Council. Now the ball will go to the Power Verification Commission, at the opening of the elections on October 15th.
