It was the first denomination of the one that, a few years later, became the Italian Winter Sports Federation. The President of the real birth of the Federation was Alberto Bonacossa, who immediately arranged to have the FISI recognized by the Italian National Olympic Committee.
On 10 October 2020, therefore, the FISI will celebrate the first 100 years of its long and prestigious history, for a federation that now has 15 sports disciplines, about 400 athletes in the various national teams and the beauty of 1200 Ski Clubs distributed throughout the national territory . The first element that will distinguish the celebrations of the 100 years of FISI will be a special logo, the one celebrating the event: for the occasion, all the Italian Ski Clubs will be involved, who have been invited to produce sketches of the logo of the Centenary by 30 September 2019. The celebratory logo must contain the official logo of the Federation, or what can be found on the header of the federal website www.fisi.org, even without written, and must obviously contain the number 100.
The sketches of the logos, made in jpeg or vector format, must be sent to the e-mail 100annifisi@fisi.org, will then be evaluated and the best will be awarded during the Skipass Fair in Modena (31 October-3 November 2019) and adopted for the documentation relating to the celebrations. The prize will consist of a special experience with the Italian national team during the Alta Badia World Cup competitions (22/23 December 2019): it will be possible for the winner and his companions to take a selfie with the Italian champions, get a personalized autograph, watch the races from a privileged position and access the exclusive Vip Lounge.
