Among the parade of new garments for the 2022/23 vintage at the gates, there were interventions first of all at the institutional level, with the Minister of Tourism, Massimo Garavaglia, who confirmed support for the FISI as well as Manuela Di Centa herself underlined the relay that took place between via Piranesi and the Ministry itself.

While Sofia Goggia said she was confident for a year "which I hope is normal, at least compared to the previous ...", Federica Brignone spoke of the importance of the role of athletes for the entire snow sector. And then again the kids of ski mountaineering, who will be competing at the Olympic Games in Italy and will aim very high, like the talents of the freestyle sector, from Donaggio to Lauzi also present today in Milan, up to the jump, bobsleigh, roller skis, grass skiing that has just finished another great year and speed skiing represented by those two phenomena that respond to the names of Valentina Greggio and Simone Origone.
Today was also the opportunity, for Rainer Senoner's Saslong Classic Club, to launch the candidacy (already submitted to the FIS for some time) of Val Gardena for the 2029 Alpine Ski World Championships. Together with Nadia Delago, Val Gardena fresh from the Olympic bronze in Beijing 2022, the number 1 of the organizing committee of the cup races on the Saslong (by the way, in December there will be a celebration with the 99th and 100th races of the maximum circuit held in Gardena) presented a strong project for a great dream that is now a concrete goal.
"It is an honor for us to set out in this theater towards this new challenge, together with the FISI whom I thank, which is called Val Gardena 2029 - said Senoner - It is an adventure and a real dream to bring back a World championship in our valley after almost 60 years ".
