Manfred Moelgg at full speed ... bike: the "Maratona dles Dolomites" will race again on Sunday

The return of the historic granfondo will see protagonists, from the world of snow, also Mattia Casse, Kristian Ghedina, Federico Pellegrino, Hervé Barmasse and Cristian Zorzi.

He has taken part in the Paris-Modena, has pedaled in recent weeks with top-level professionals, such as Dario Cataldo himself (under the Movistar Team), and is now ready to face the "home race", or the Maratona dles Dolomites which, on Sunday 4 July, will be reborn proposing a new edition after the cancellation of 2020. Manfred Moelgg at full speed towards the Olympic season, which should be the last of his career on the track; the Marebbano highlander could not fail to be there for the granfondo which will start at 6.30 am from La Villa, practically at the foot of the Gran Risa, and foresees the arrival in Corvara after having faced some of the Dolomite passes that made the history of cycling, namely Campolongo, Pordoi, Sella, Gardena, Giau, Falzarego and Valparola. There are three routes where the race unfolds: the "Lungo" of 138 km and 4230 meters. in altitude, the "Middle" of 106 km and 3130 mt. in altitude and the "Sella Ronda" of 55 km and 1780 meters. in altitude. 6400 participants are expected, including many sportsmen and entrepreneurs, but also many athletes from the world of snow: in addition to Moelgg, there will once again be Mattia Casse, cross-country skier Federico Pellegrino, great ex like Cristian Zorzi and Kristian Ghedina, but also the alpinist Hervé Barmasse. Among the entrepreneurs on the saddle also Andy Varallo, number 1 of Dolomiti Superski and host, for a Maratona dles Dolomites that fans can follow live on TV on Rai 2, from 6.15 am to 12.00.
