Not only that, because on the afternoon of Wednesday 25 August, the award will be given to Deborah Compagnoni, who is waiting in Jesolo to put her "signature", with the cast of her hands on the seafront, on the section dedicated to the Valtellinese champion. And between the sea and winter disciplines, Federica Pellegrini talked about herself before leaving for Naples, where from 26 August she will be engaged in the ISL, in fact her last great adventure at a competitive level. "It is a gradual step towards the end of the career, training in Jesolo is very useful in what for me is the place of the heart - the words of the multiple world champion and Olympic gold medalist in Beijing 2008 - Here I found a home and a point of reference point for my whole family, but the holidays will be there from next winter ... ".
Winter, in fact, with Livigno which is a sort of second home for Fede, she who also has a direct relationship with Sofia Goggia: "I often talk to her and I'm sure they can't wait for our Olympics, those in Milan- Cortina 2026. I am happy to be able to support the athletes in some way, with the role of ambassador of the Italian Games which has given me immense pleasure.
From a certain point of view, I feel envious of winter sports that will have this great opportunity at home - added to his colleague from "Il Gazzettino", Fabrizio Cibin - We could have had them too (on the occasion of the candidacy, later rejected by the Municipality , of Rome 2024, ed), but that's okay ”.
The Venetian star will continue to follow the Olympics even as a new member of the IOC: "I will work on various issues, from anti-doping to that of mental well-being, which I am happy has emerged in an important way in recent times, because talking about it represents a help for all movement.
