The Federation led by Flavio Roda wanted to dedicate a recognition to Manfred Moelgg, one of the athletes who left the activity at the end of last season.
The Forlì Ski Club has chosen Dorothea Wierer as the winner of the award that the Romagna company has been awarding since 1966: the "Cristallo d''Oro" went to the blue star of biathlon, in 2021/22 capable of crowning an already legendary career with the first individual medal at the Olympic Games.
"Doro" happens in the roll of honor to Marta Bassino, who in 2021 also won the title of "FISI Athlete of the Year": precisely the most coveted recognition that this year will be awarded with a final to three (the official ceremony at the Azzurri party, today at 6.00 pm) involving Michele Boscacci, Federica Brignone and Sofia Goggia.
The Silver Crystal awarded by the Forlì Ski Club, on the other hand, went to the former Azzurri dt (until last season) of the same national biathlon team, Fabrizio Curtaz.
