I took the liberty of suggesting that, for categories such as chicks that do not have to prepare for this type of event, perhaps at this moment it is appropriate to wait and not practice activities, even if it is not an imposition. Above all, we recommend that you use the appropriate protective equipment, sending surgical masks to the ski clubs to give an important signal, and not use the minibuses supplied, instead reaching the training locations with your own means, respecting all the rules because we must be example".
The president of the FISI Medical Commission, dr. Andrea Panzeri, and the Covid manager, dr. Giovanni Montani, who spoke specifically of the federal protocol for all events in each discipline. “Behavioral norms of a certain type are expected within the competition field - explained Dr. Montani - There will be a single entrance, closed to the public and with only one companion per athlete, and one or more exit routes; the use of the mask is mandatory for everyone, with the athletes who will be able to remove it only in the 5 minutes prior to the start of the respective race. There will be the detection of body temperature (above 37.5 ° the entry will be forbidden, ed), while for the mass start of cross-country skiing and biathlon, it will be necessary to wear a mask for the first 150 meters of the race, not being able to guarantee the spacing at the start.
In addition, the awards will be held only outdoors with the obligation of a mask for all those who will stop in the finish area ".
President Roda reiterated the confirmation of the first seasonal races on Italian snow, namely the two of the Italian championship and the two international ones in Solda, from 9 to 12 November, and on the ski lifts, still closed since last Monday 26 October. , the number 1 of via Piranesi reiterated that the protocol presented at the CTS has been worked on, “not hiding that the clear objective is that they reopen also to amateurs, not only for agonists.
