The outgoing president of the FISI, however, is just a few hours away from another important verdict: on the morning of Thursday 13 October, starting at 9.00, there will in fact be the sentence of the CONI College of Guarantee on the candidacy or otherwise of Roda himself. for the national elections scheduled 48 hours later, Saturday 15 in Milan.
As is known, three of the other four candidates for the chair of federal number 1, namely Stefano Maldifassi, Alessandro Falez and Angelo Dalpez, after the first appeals to the Federal Court, turned to the Guarantee Board of the body that manages Italian sport and all federations related to it. The President, Gabriella Palmieri, yesterday evening (Tuesday 11th) fixed for tomorrow the hearing of the College of Guarantee at United Sections, regarding the possible non-eligibility and ineligibility of the Bolognese manager, for the fourth term (but not complete , the president of the FISI appeals to this).
Fourth term also for the candidate director Enzo Sima (alongside Falez in the federal race), against whom another executive who proposes himself for the next council, Alessandro Acciai, filed an appeal (to be discussed in the same hearing on Thursday), but the Sima's case is very different from that of Roda, since he joined FISI in 2010 at the time of Giovanni Morzenti's presidency, elections then canceled before the era of Flavio Roda at the helm of the Italian Winter Sports Federation began .
