Registered for the U.S. Camporosso, the company with which he took his first steps on skiing, Sima boasts a past as a coach at the Friuli Venezia Giulia and Trentino Regional Committees, managing the first collaboration project between the school and the Italian Winter Sports Federation. Subsequently Sima worked alongside the late Severino Bottero, coaching the youth teams until he took over the role of Head of the Piancavallo ski center.
In the well-known ski resort of the Pordenone area Sima remains until 2021, managing in parallel since 2016, as head of PromoturismoFVG (tourism management company of the FVG Region), first the regional mountain product, and then from November 2021 the new regional tourism sector of the Bike. In both of these positions he has successfully organized numerous competitive events, including international ones, in various disciplines.
Always sided in favor of the principles of sharing, meritocracy and above all transparency, Sima, in his mandates as Federal Lay Councilor within the FISI, has distinguished himself for the continuous search for dialogue with the federal leaders and sometimes has not failed to express his disagreement on some issues, such as in 2010 when, together with his fellow directors, he gave rise to the Fisi Etica as opposed to the Morzenti Presidency.

So that the athletes of the national teams can present themselves to the competitive season with the certainty of the garments to wear and the sponsors to show. It is not only their sporting results and the health of the federal budget, but also of the prestige of the federation and of the country. "
Saturday's elections see her as a councilor candidate. But there is an appeal pending on his candidacy because he would have already completed his third term.
