Among the prominent names engaged in the Regionals, stand Caroline Zhang, noble fallen skating stars and stripes, Carly Gold, twin sister Gracie, and Tyler Pierce, runner-up in the National junior last season.
Franchesca Chiera, Amber Glenn, the national junior champion, Barbie Long, Hannah Miller, Leah Keiser and Karen Chen will, however, exempted from the Regionals and will come into the scene during the Sectionals.
Among the athletes of international caliber still short of the certainty of the match in the senior race in Greensboro, also deserve a mention Nathan Chen, Grant Hochstein, Douglas Razzano, Shotaro Omori, Alexander Johnson, and Jordan Moeller.
Go to & ograve; Karen pointed out that Chen will play & agrave; in the course of this week the possibility & agrave; to win the final of the Junior Grand Prix and thus avoid 'commitment to the Sectional Championship.
